I have spent many enjoyable weeks in southwest Utah on Lake Powell in Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, cruising on houseboats and being pulled behind ski boats. We frequently stopped at Halls Crossing marina to refuel the boats and to get ice cream on hot summer days. Tied up at the marina would be hundreds of ski boats, small yachts, and 50-foot-long houseboats.
Late Thursday night at Halls Crossing a fire broke out on one of the boats and spread to 20 others.
FireGeezer has the story about how National Park Service firefighters constructed fireline by cutting boats loose from their moorings ahead of the fire.

Why do reporters always report that we firefighters breath from oxygen tanks. It's compressed air not oxygen.
