The memorial service has been scheduled for Chad Suppa, the Module Leader of the Bureau of Land Management's Unaweep Fire Use Module who died in a parachuting accident near Phoenix on February 15. The date for the service has been changed from what was announced earlier, and it will now be Thursday March 5th at 3:00 p.m. at the Canyonview Vineyard Church in Grand Junction, Colorado. According to an email that has been circulating: "The closest hotel to the church is The Holiday Inn Express off of 24 Road. There are also a variety of hotels on Horizon Drive, such as Holiday Inn, Doubletree, Grand Vista, Marriot, etc."
UPDATE Feb. 25:
Two memorial services have been planned. The first service will be held on Friday, February 27, 2009 in Warrenton, Virginia, at 4 p.m. at the Moser Funeral Home, 233 Broadview Avenue. A visitation will follow until 6:00 p.m.
The other service will be at Grand Junction on March 5 as described above.
