In honor of the Academy awards coming up on February 22, we are conducting a poll to determine the best movie of all time in which wildland fire was a major part of the plot. The poll is on the right side of this page.
Here are the nominees:
- Always (1989)
- Firestorm (1998)
- Firestorm: Last Stand at Yellowstone (TV) (2006)
- Red Skies of Montana (1952)
- None of them; they all suck

It's almost insulting to have "Red Skies" considered in the same poll as "Firestorm": one of the very best ever, Red Skies is still used in Annual Refresher classes to teach some important points. "Firestorm" is also used, mostly for comic relief!
Still waiting for Young Men and Fire to be made.
